Welcome
Welcome to Carding for a Cure blog. Carding For A Cure is a way I’ve developed, with the help of many friends, to use SendOutCards as a tool to give back to my community. Everyone in the SOC Family can use this idea to support whatever cause they feel passionate about. My group’s focus is Breast Cancer Awareness, but Carding For A Cure could be adapted to work for any cause.

Thanks for the blog, Zoe. I will let my bicycling friends know about Carding for a Cure next time for fundraising for their MS Ride in Altoona, PA this past weekend. They had the largest group - 42 riders.

Hi Holly,
I am so excited that you found this website and were able to blog. I have never blogged and having a website
is a huge accomplishment for CardingForACure. I am so excited about the possiblility of all the good that can
be done through CFAC. How did you find the site? Are you going to the Convention and how long have you been
a distributor. You are the 1st Distributor that has found this site as it was just set up.
Thanks for your comment and hope to meet you at convention.

Hi Zoe,
CFAC is simply a fantastic way for many to help each other and themselves. It always feels so good to give of oneself. The possibilities for doing good with CFAC seem to me to be nearly endless. Thank you so much for sharing it!
I found your site through a link on Jordan's site, thecoolbuzz.com. What an incredible giver he is! Now I will send people to your site as well as his.
I would love to set up a CFAC for the American Cancer Society. I have many people in my life that been effected by cancer in one form or another, so I would like to broaden it and not focus on one type.
I have been a distributor with SOC for two years now. I have yet to reach manager and I am determined to reach it and pass it and end up as an Eagle. I will be at Convention and would love to meet you!

I discovered your site after my fundraising efforts for the 13th Annual Keystone Country Ride (aka MS 150 bicycle ride) in central Pennsylvania. I would like to be able to use your Multiple Sclerosis card design and Send Out Cards for next year's fundraising.

Hi Elaine,
I would love for you to use the MS card for your fund raising next year. If you are a SOC Distributor I can transfer
the card to your account. I think you will find that a great way to notify friends, family and business's about your
fund raising efforts.

Hi Zoe! I also found your site through Jordan's. I will be at convention (my first time) and would love to chat with you. I am involved with a number of non-profit organizations and would like to learn more about how they can utilize SOC.
If you could share the cards you've created thus far, that would be great! Thank you for this great idea!

Zoe,
I was at the convention and saw that fabulous video on Carding for a Cure. I would love to be able to do this for lymphoma. What do I need to do?

Hi Diane,
You have to establish some type of fundraisers to generate funds for your cause or join a national fund raiser for
Lymphoma or Cancer Maybe the Relay for Life and then use the Carding System to generate funds. Create a card
that could announce your fund raiser , or use it to generate donations from friends, family and local businesses.
I donated the $25 Gift Cards as door prizes at some of our fund raising events. Which helped create some new card
senders.
Create a Card or use the Cancer Card I created.
Let me know how it goes.

Hi Zoe! What an amazing story! I was at convention and was struck by this idea. I had heard that you were doing something along these lines I was thrilled to see where you took it. I have been involved with some fundraising in our area for Breast Cancer awareness. I have wanted to make a bigger impact but I'm not sure how to go about it. We have an amazing SOABC (stepping out against breast cancer)dance every year that funds local mammograms. We also do this thing in conjunction with a local radio station where donated bras get strung across the river. In addition we have a big golf tournament that involves some local celebs. I am not involved in the marketing of any of these things, just help with some of the details and try to participate. I am having a hard time fully grasping how I can implement SOC into these events in a way that isn't blatantly "selling" SOC. What can you suggest to me?

Hi Wendy,
I have used the CFAC as a platform for our SendOutCards team use the carding system to send info about upcoming fund raising events, for general donations to our walk from friends, family and local business owners. We follow up with the cards to let them know our progress and most important to thank them for their support.
I have given away the $25 Gift Cards at our fundraising events and have created many new card senders. This program is not about selling packages, it is about giving back. I have met some amazing people through our walk in NYC and hope to have others promoting CFAC for what ever worthwhile cause they choose. The SendOutCards Teams will portrait what our wonderful company is all about. Sending Out to Give in a BIG WAY!
